In this role, you will liaise daily with academics at Higher Education institutes across Malaysia and Singapore via Teams/Zoom, email, face-to-face meetings, and targeted marketing campaigns. Your mission: introduce them to McGraw Hill's cutting-edge teaching platforms that deliver the most engaging and effective units of study, driving student success through innovation. Adopt a consultative selling approach to uncover the key challenges faced by academics, then recommend the most appropriate McGraw Hill digital and print solutions tailored to their courses, modules, or units. This is a full 360-degree sales position where you will own the entire process—from prospecting new customers and building a robust pipeline to closing deals and maintaining long-term relationships. Grow our Higher Education portfolio by expanding adoptions, proactively seeking orders from end users and institutions, and influencing key buying decisions. Partner with local collaborators in Malaysia and Singapore to champion our printed solutions, while ensuring all activities are meticulously tracked in Salesforce for accuracy and insights. Key Responsibilities

  • Target new customers across Malaysia and Singapore using a consultative selling approach
  • Understand key challenges faced by academics and suggest appropriate McGraw Hill solutions for their courses/modules/units
  • Grow the McGraw Hill Higher Education portfolio, both digital and print, by expanding new adoptions
  • Proactively seek orders from end users and institutions and influence buying decisions
  • Liaise with key stakeholders in Higher Education markets to identify new business opportunities
  • Develop relationships, network, and conduct fact-finding to achieve sales targets and objectives
  • Partner with local partners across Malaysia/Singapore to drive printed-portfolio solutions
  • Maintain accuracy in company records, including logging all calls and tracking opportunities in Salesforce
  • Introduce academics to innovative McGraw Hill teaching platforms for engaging units of study
  • Close your own business and maintain a strong, prosperous sales pipeline

Required Qualifications

  • Previous sales or business development experience with understanding of managing the complete sales cycle
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (Listening, Speaking, Reading & Writing)
  • Experience in a 360 sales position responsible for closing business and maintaining a pipeline
  • Ability to liaise daily with academics via Teams/Zoom, email, face-to-face meetings, and marketing campaigns
  • A desire to help University learners and an interest in education technology
  • Location-based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within a digital, software, or online products environment
  • Understanding of the Education sector, particularly Higher Education
  • Fluency in any additional languages
  • Experience partnering with local partners to drive printed-portfolio solutions
