We are seeking a Production Services Executive for our Noida, India office on a one-year contractual basis. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams in content development and portfolio management, as well as external stakeholders like authors and vendors, to bring product visions to life. Your work will drive the production of competitive, high-quality print and digital products for pan-India, regional, and select global higher education markets, addressing evolving learner needs in a rapidly changing educational landscape. As a Production Services Executive, you will ensure seamless project execution from inception to release, managing multiple timelines, mitigating risks, and fostering strong networks to deliver financially viable solutions. Key responsibilities include creating detailed schedules, overseeing copyediting and layout, briefing vendors for typesetting and proofreading, handling eBook creation and archiving within strict TATs, and maintaining impeccable quality standards. You will also circulate production reports, sign SOWs, and process POs/invoices, all while proactively improving workflows to support McGraw Hill's commitment to innovation. Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of pre-publication experience in publishing or education technology, with hands-on knowledge of copyediting, typesetting, and proofreading. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate projects from inception to completion to ensure timely product releases
  • Create and share detailed project schedules with internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee copyediting and layout design, including style sheets, before proofs are generated
  • Brief vendors, hand off projects for typesetting and proofreading, and track progress closely
  • Manage final archiving, eBook creation, and other digital components within defined TATs
  • Maintain high product quality without impacting overall project timelines
  • Circulate PF documents, production reports, and related updates promptly
  • Sign SOWs and process POs and invoices in alignment with project timelines
  • Build strong networks with vendors, authors, and internal teams
  • Manage multiple projects across pan-India, regional, and select global markets
  • Proactively prioritize, mitigate risks, and escalate issues as needed
  • Continuously improve processes and workflows

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1–2 years of pre-publication experience in publishing, education, technology, or related fields
  • Hands-on exposure to copyediting, typesetting, proofreading, and publishing workflows
  • Working knowledge of common publishing tools and software
  • Strong analytical reading skills with the ability to spot errors quickly and accurately
