We're seeking a Sales Representative to support universities and colleges in and around Long Beach, California. Reporting to a District Sales Manager, you'll drive digital product sales by connecting with faculty and stakeholders, leveraging McGraw Hill's cutting-edge solutions to transform teaching and learning in a dynamic, innovation-driven culture. Sales Representatives at McGraw Hill are experienced communicators who are highly organized, data-driven, and quick to master new technologies. With an entrepreneurial spirit, you'll seek out opportunities, engage stakeholders, and close business in a complex higher education landscape. Key impact areas include driving digital transformation by transitioning institutions to tools that boost student engagement; building lasting relationships with faculty and administrators; expanding market reach through proactive outreach; and collaborating across teams for seamless implementation. Intellectual curiosity and appreciation for educational institutions are vital to success. Success demands daily travel (five days per week) across the greater Long Beach area, occasional out-of-state trips, residency in the territory, and a valid driver's license. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s Degree, 2+ years of sales experience, a proven track record of high achievement, competitive drive, teamwork adaptability, independent problem-solving, and exceptional presentation, communication, and time management skills.
