Key Responsibilities

  • Attain and surpass sales goals by developing and building customer relationships to maintain and expand market penetration
  • Create and execute strategic business territory plans to increase sales according to company growth expectations
  • Uncover new business opportunities within account base through proactive contact and relationship maintenance
  • Focus on selling Core solutions to Grades K-12 customer base, including new, expansion, and residual business
  • Demonstrate understanding of business profitability to negotiate and manage resources based on corporate policy
  • Use appropriate written and verbal communication skills internally and externally to facilitate desired outcomes
  • Manage company resources including vehicle, credit card, home office, and computer equipment

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the United States
  • Valid driver's license with ability to drive in designated territory
  • Reside in San Francisco Bay area (preferably Marin, Napa, Sonoma, San Francisco, San Mateo, Mendocino, or Lake counties)
  • Ability to travel 80% in the field, including overnight stays
  • Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs
  • Evidence of being organized with territory management capabilities in a fast-paced environment

  • 2+ years sales experience in K-12 educational publishing or EdTech services
  • 5+ years of classroom experience
  • Experience with CRM database (Salesforce strongly preferred)
