Reporting to the Director of Sales Programs, you will collaborate closely with the District Manager to drive growth goals, foster innovation, and inspire excellence across North Carolina and Virginia (excluding Northern Virginia). This role demands residence in the territory, regular campus travel (four days per week), and overnight travel up to 25% during peak seasons (September-mid November and January-May). Your impact will be profound: lead strategies for complex, high-value sales opportunities, develop qualified leads on campus across key disciplines, and close deals by showcasing the unparalleled value of McGraw Hill's premium digital products and services. As the go-to product expert, you will deliver high-stakes demonstrations, model advanced sales techniques, and mentor Sales Representatives through training, onboarding, and professional development. You will also ensure seamless transitions of new business to Customer Success teams, promoting sustained customer outcomes and loyalty in the evolving edtech landscape. A typical day involves strategic collaboration, campus engagements, consultative needs assessments, and data-driven insights to propel adoptions. We're seeking a Bachelor's degree holder with 5+ years in higher ed tech sales, exceptional communication, analytical prowess, and a passion for innovation.
