In this role, you will perform monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting; support product teams with profitability analysis, trends, and adoption insights; conduct variance analysis and present findings to senior leaders; and lead ad-hoc projects. You will review product investments, maintain key metrics, develop advanced financial models, and evaluate new opportunities like platform investments and business development strategies. Collaborating cross-functionally, you will build partnerships, drive process improvements, and ensure accurate, timely financial insights that empower innovative edtech solutions and business growth. The ideal candidate brings an Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Accounting/Finance, 5+ years in financial analysis, advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Tableau, and Power BI, plus strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly financial reporting tasks, monthly forecasting, and annual budgeting activities
  • Support product teams by compiling financial information and providing guidance on profitability, historical trends, and adoption analysis
  • Report and monitor actual and budget data in a timely and accurate manner
  • Perform variance analysis, identify drivers of business performance, and present to senior partners
  • Participate in ad-hoc reporting, initiatives, and analysis
  • Investigate discrepancies and provide recommendations requiring specialized analysis
  • Develop strong working partnerships across finance, product, and other teams; lead process improvements
  • Develop detailed financial and analytical models to improve transparency into business performance
  • Evaluate financial and strategic impact of new business opportunities, including product offerings and sales plans
  • Develop detailed reports and summaries to analyze financial activity and assist management in interpreting results

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Accounting/Finance
  • 5+ years related experience in financial reporting, planning, forecasting, analysis, and month-end close
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of financial and business planning, budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience utilizing Tableau and Power BI for analytics
  • Proven ability to manage large volumes of data and problem solve using existing resources
  • Track record of establishing collaborative business relationships with cross-functional teams
