Position Summary

Based in Dunn Center, ND (or nearby Watford City/New Town), this safety-sensitive position involves aligning contract obligations and lease agreements with metering, testing, calibration, and sampling per ConocoPhillips policies. You'll work primarily at central tank batteries and well sites across North Dakota, maintaining an 8/6 Wednesday-to-Wednesday day schedule with occasional overtime and weekends.

Key focus: Independent fieldwork in adverse conditions, climbing to 24 feet, using hand tools, and wearing specialized safety gear including supplied air systems.

What You Will Do

Core Responsibilities

• Schedule and maintain petroleum industry measurement equipment: installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Service stations with EFM, USM, Meter Tubes, Gas Chromatographs, Radio Communications, PD Meters, Coriolis Meters, Mass Flow Meters, and Pressure Transmitters.
• Witness third-party meter tests/proving and oversee contractor scheduling.
• Operate and maintain water pipeline systems.
• Work independently across multiple sites daily, adhering to respiratory and safety programs.

Your precision ensures regulatory compliance, accurate production reporting, and seamless operations in the Bakken's tight-oil play—the most prolific part of the basin.

What We Are Looking For

Basic Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license.
• 1+ years in preventative, predictive, or corrective maintenance.
• Basic Microsoft O365 skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Word).
• Reside or relocate within 50 miles of Watford City, New Town, or Dunn Center, ND.
• Willing to work 8/6 schedule, overtime, weekends; perform physical tasks in extreme weather.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years oil/gas measurement experience.
• Knowledge of AGA-3 1992 & 2013 Standards.
