We are looking for Mechanical Assemblers for Pomona, CA
2nd shift hours: 4:00pm - 12:30 Midnight, 3 months of training on 1st shift
Pay $19.22
Position Overview:
- Assembling and/or modifying electromechanical equipment (e.g. Switchboards, Lighting Panels, etc.) with use of mechanical tools and blueprints.
- Processes work orders (with the use of computers, scanning devices, etc.) in adherence to the production schedule or expedited orders.
- Scans in and out of work orders (with the use of computers, scanning devices, etc.) in adherence to the production schedule or expedited orders.
- Reads and interprets documents associated with the completion of mechanical assembly assignments (e.g. blue prints, bill of materials, one line diagrams, etc.).
- Fastens component parts on cubicles or frames, subassemblies, or unit assemblies.
- Cleans and maintains equipment and work area to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions.

Basic Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical /measuring tools
- Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
- Ability to stand to perform job duties
- Ability to reach, grasp and lift up to 50lbs, push/pull and slide heavy material
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, crawl and climb
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be thorough and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to learn all equipment operated in the facility, and follow established processes
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with reading Blue Prints
- Previous experience with Large Industrial Machines

The pay for this position is $19.22 per hour, plus an additional $.40 shift differential. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
