Role Overview

We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our Technical Function at PepsiCo Little Island, Cork. In this critical role, you'll ensure operational excellence by maintaining and optimizing manufacturing and utilities equipment. Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out all maintenance work safely, cost-effectively, and to the highest GMP standards.

  • Update and deliver SAP KPI data to support plant targets and functional goals.
  • Drive LOTO activities and offer technical support to project teams for best-practice solutions.
  • Recommend process modifications to enhance efficiency, energy usage, and equipment performance.
  • Maintain automated systems including PLC, In-Batch, robotics, labelling, and check-weighing.
  • Participate in maintenance improvement programs and training to upskill the team.

Qualifications & Requirements

To thrive as a Mechanical Fitter at PepsiCo, you'll need a solid foundation in mechanical engineering and manufacturing. Essential qualifications include:

  • Qualified National Mechanical craft or completion of Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitter (MAMF) apprenticeship or equivalent.
