Key Responsibilities at Rivian

• Lead quality issue resolution: Manage and close issues in VHE Systems, collaborating cross-functionally on root causes using Six Sigma tools.
• Validate and verify fixes: Design test procedures to confirm software/hardware updates eliminate failure modes.
• Hands-on instrumentation: Instrument test vehicles to capture performance data during validation.
• DFMEA and risk management: Update system DFMEA, PFMEA, design standards, specs, and control plans with engineers.
• Systems development support: Guide VHE Systems from concept through End-of-Line specs and production.
• Campaign prevention: Document lessons learned to build knowledge base and avoid future issues.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Controls, Manufacturing for seamless fixes.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Deep knowledge of vehicle electrical architecture, CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet.

• Automotive design processes, requirements, best practices knowledge.
