Cardinal Health invites board-certified or board-eligible Medical Oncologists/Hematologists to join Rocky Mountain Oncology Center in Lander, WY—a Navista alliance member. Nestled in the foothills of the Wind River Mountain Range, this state-of-the-art facility offers comprehensive cancer services including oncology, chemotherapy, radiation, infusion, and imaging. You'll provide high-quality care in a spacious, comfortable environment that combines medical excellence with patient comfort. In this pivotal role, you'll partner directly with patients to navigate their cancer journeys. Core duties include discussing treatment options, managing side effects, and providing emotional support during stressful times. You'll communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, while documenting and coordinating personalized treatment plans. Administrative tasks such as updating records, writing prescriptions, and monitoring progress are essential. Expect to respond expeditiously to patient and referring physician inquiries, foster teamwork among clinic staff, and ensure compliance with all credentialing, quality assurance, and regulatory standards. Participation in continuing education maintains your clinical competency, aligning with national and company policies for ethical, high-standard patient care.

Key skills include interpreting clinical, genomic, and efficacy data; operating cancer treatment equipment; and thriving in fast-paced environments. Exceptional communication—both verbal and presentation skills—is vital for engaging patients, technicians, and professionals. Physicians must complete privileging, credentialing, and licensing to maintain compliance with group bylaws and hospital regulations.
