Role Overview

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role at Gilead Sciences is a field-based position covering South Jersey cities and all of Delaware. Reporting to the USMA Mid Atlantic HIV Field Director, this role focuses on supporting HIV Treatment and Prevention initiatives. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you'll execute a range of critical tasks to advance Gilead's medical affairs objectives:

  • Deliver timely, accurate clinical, scientific, and educational presentations to healthcare providers on HIV Treatment and Prevention, adhering to PhRMA guidelines and FDA requirements.
  • Implement goals aligned with Medical Affairs strategic initiatives and develop plans for cultivating relationships with thought leaders.
  • Provide field insights on treatment practices and trends to strategy and competitive intelligence teams.
  • Participate in advisory boards, educational programs, speaker training, and clinical conferences.
  • Collaborate with Global Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Commercial, and other teams.
  • Respond to clinical inquiries on Gilead products, develop opinion leaders, and recommend sites for clinical trials.
  • Maintain compliance with all pharmaceutical codes, OIG guidelines, and Gilead policies while completing administrative tasks efficiently.

Qualifications & Requirements

Gilead seeks experienced healthcare professionals with:

  • An advanced degree (PharmD, MD, or equivalent) in life sciences or healthcare.
  • Proven MSL experience, ideally in HIV or infectious diseases.
  • Deep knowledge of HIV therapeutics, clinical data, and regulatory landscapes.
