Role Overview

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) - South Texas position at Gilead Sciences is a field-based role reporting to the Central USMA Field Director, Liver Disease. This strategic position supports field-facing activities for the US Medical Affairs (USMA) Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC), Hepatitis C (HCV), and Hepatitis B (HBV) Plans of Action. Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel as a Medical Science Liaison at Gilead, candidates must possess a strong scientific foundation and relevant experience. Required qualifications include a BS/BA with 8+ years of experience, MS/MA with 6+ years, or PhD/PharmD with 2+ years, preferably an advanced medical/scientific/clinical degree (MD, DO, PhD, PharmD, NP, or PA). A minimum of 3 years in a medically related profession, such as liver disease or antiviral medicine, is essential, with demonstrated knowledge of clinical research processes, treatment landscapes, and professional society guidelines. Clinical practice experience is highly desirable.
