A Day in the Life

Position Summary: 
We are looking for a creative & proactive intern to join our Communications team in Iberia. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate communications, with a special focus on social media management, internal communications and events management. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Social Media Support: 

• Assist in the creation, scheduling, and monitoring of content for Medtronic Iberia’s social media channels. 

• Help track performance metrics and prepare monthly reports. 

• Support community management and engagement initiatives. 

• Internal Communications: 

• Collaborate on the development of internal newsletters, announcements and campaigns. 

• Help maintain internal communication platforms and contribute to content planning. 

• Assist in the coordination of employee engagement initiatives. 

• Event Support: 

• Provide logistical and creative support for internal events (e.g., town halls). 

• Help with event communications, including invitations, presentations, and post-event follow-ups. 

Requirements: 

• Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or a related field. 

• Strong writing and editing skills in both Spanish and English – Bonus for Portuguese. 

• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic analytics tools. 

• Proactive, organized and detail-oriented. 

• Creative mindset and willingness to learn with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education: Graduate.

Type of Degree:  Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or a related field. 

Languages: English (Reading: Advanced level (C1) / Writing: Advanced level (C1) / Conversation: Advanced level (C1)); Spanish (Reading: Advanced level (C1) / Writing: Advanced level (C1) / Conversation: Advanced level (C1)); Bonus for Portuguese knowledge

Additional Information:

- Internship agreement

- Duration: 12 months (extendable + 6months)

- Full time

- Schedule: flexible 7:30-10_00 to 16:00-18:30. Fridays and summer months intensive day

- Office presence: minimum 2 days/week

- Study aid of €1000 gross/month + Food Aid (Ticket restaurant)
