A Day in the Life

You have a strong focus on customer satisfaction and are able to build lasting relationships with colleagues in other departments and disciplines. Managing several operational tasks and projects at once poses no problem for you.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Supervisor role within the Outbound department, with about 25 direct reports
• Monitor order inflow, resource planning and people management for the daily delivery and shipment flows and handle special incoming requests
• Engage the team towards best-in-class performance to ensure timely order processing in the best quality and efficiency
• Effective issue resolution and communication towards the supporting teams which includes performing root cause investigation, coordinate issues with other teams, have attention for detail, and a high-quality focus
• Build close working relationships with your crew of operators and supporting teams as well as other internal departments
• Initiate, organize and or support the implementation of improvements within the department
• A mix of operational leadership, communication and continuous improvements skills in the delivery of service and support of the Outbound processes

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Supervisor experience in a dynamic environment, preferably in logistics or production 
• Available to work in shifts together with other supervisors (between 7am-21pm)
• Fluent in Dutch & English and clear communication skills to employees, leaders as multiple stakeholders
• Influencing, convincing and motivating skills
• Ability to drive deadlines, KPI targets, & compliance and to prioritize, plan and execute to the best of the company
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and to make decisions and take swift actions

Experience with Lean Six Sigma, excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills and experience within a medical device environment are considered advantages in this role.
