Job Description

At Medtronic you can begin a life-long career of exploration and innovation, while helping champion healthcare access and equity for all. You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.

A Day in the Life

Join Medtronic, a global leader in medical technology, and play a pivotal role in transforming healthcare. At Medtronic, we are driven by a mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life. This is your opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking innovations like CathWorks, a revolutionary diagnostic tool that enhances coronary artery assessments using cutting-edge 3D modelling technology. If you’re passionate about making a meaningful impact in healthcare, we invite you to bring your expertise, creativity, and ambition to our team. Together, we can shape the future of healthcare.

As part of the Coronary & Renal Denervation (CRDN) businesses within the CardioVascular Portfolio, you’ll work in a dynamic and inclusive environment. Collaborating with Cardiologists, Cath Lab managers, and other stakeholders, you’ll help implement CathWorks technology in hospitals while driving adoption and delivering impactful training programs. With flexible working practices, a focus on work-life balance, and a competitive compensation package, this is more than just a job—it’s a chance to make a real difference.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Coordinate and execute initial training sessions for using the CathWorks (CWX) suite, including shadowing users, providing theoretical training, and assisting with first clinical procedures
  • Support the adoption of the CWX suite during the early implementation phase by collaborating with local Sales Representatives (SRs) and ensuring activities are tracked and measured in coordination with the WE HQ team
  • Conduct follow-up training sessions for new and existing users, particularly when new tools or functionalities are introduced
  • Train local SRs during live and demo cases to help them achieve certification in proficient usage of technology
  • Assist local commercial teams (SRs, Marketing) in delivering product presentations and demo cases in target accounts
  • Provide "train the trainer" resources to hospital staff, enabling them to independently train their personnel on the CWX suite

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or a closely related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Computer Science or technology implementation within the healthcare industry, with a focus on medical systems integration
  • Strong knowledge of angiograms and cardiac anatomy, with demonstrated expertise in imaging technologies
  • Proven project management skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate, and execute programs while meeting timelines and objectives
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills to resolve problems proactively and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and hospital staff
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively, up to 80% of the time, within the country of residence and across key European Union (EU) countries

Experience implementing innovative diagnostic tools or medical devices in hospital settings and familiarity with CathWorks technology or similar non-invasive diagnostic solutions would be a plus. Additional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or advanced technical training related to imaging systems would be appreciated.
