Role Overview

The Merchandiser position at PepsiCo in Salt Lake City, Utah, is a full-time, hands-on role within our North America Beverage organization. Responsible for product merchandising in high-volume stores like supermarkets and mass merchants, you'll stock shelves, rotate products, set up eye-catching displays, and ensure coolers and backrooms are organized. This labor-intensive position involves lifting cases from 20-45 pounds, using equipment like U-boats, hand trucks, and pallet jacks, and may require weekend or holiday work. Interact directly with store personnel to build relationships and execute our in-store strategy under minimal supervision.

• Transport products from backroom to sales floor using U-boats, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Display promotional materials like signs and banners to boost visibility.
• Keep backroom stock neat and orderly, organizing pallets and inventory.
• Communicate store issues to managers and PepsiCo leadership.
• Build strong customer relationships at the store level through excellent service.
• Comply with operating procedures, including scan-in/scan-out and designated routes.
• Service accounts during management-set times and execute strategies from Bulk Customer Representatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

We seek self-motivated individuals ready for physical work. Basic qualifications include:

• 18 years or older.
• Must pass physical capabilities test (if applicable).
• Own a car to access multiple store locations per shift.
• Limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
• Safe driving record strongly preferred.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License and proof of insurance.

Helpful experience:

• Retail or grocery store work, including stocking aisles and managing inventory.
• Moving products safely with equipment like dollies or U-boats.
• Merchandising, building displays, and eliminating out-of-stocks.
• Managing backroom inventory and serving customers effectively.
