Role Overview

The Merchandising Team Leader position at PepsiCo in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is a pivotal role in our sales and distribution operations. You will lead a team of merchandisers, analyze sales data, and recommend strategies to boost performance. Responsibilities include optimizing product displays, ensuring planogram compliance, and managing team execution in on-trade (OT) outlets. As a Merchandising Team Leader, no two days are the same. You'll visit stores per your journey plan, monitor competitive activities, and participate in campaigns, all while upholding PepsiCo's code of conduct. Key performance measures include execution standards and journey plan adherence, positioning you for impact in Saudi Arabia's vibrant food and beverage market.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Sales Optimization

Compare sales data for assigned products and provide recommendations to management on solutions for underperformance, such as display modifications or store relocations. Manage your merchandisers' team performance to ensure top-tier results.

Daily Store Execution

• Monitor calls on specific OT outlets as per the daily journey plan from your supervisor.
• Merchandise SSFL products across access points, shelves, standees, and floor displays.
• Place POS materials next to SSFL displays where applicable.
• Ensure all access points follow approved planograms.

Stock Management and Quality Control

• Rotate products using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
• Remove sub-standard products to maintain quality.
• Keep shelves stocked with clean, fresh SSFL products at all times.

Reporting and Compliance

• Monitor and report competitive activities.
• Report deviations from agreed terms with OT customers/outlets.
• Participate in sampling and redemption campaigns as required.
• Maintain professional appearance and behavior per Frito Lay code of conduct.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed as PepsiCo's Merchandising Team Leader in Jeddah, bring proven management skills with direct sales teams.
