- Compliance counseling on advertising, marketing, and promotions (experience in Legal)
Preferred Qualifications
- Legal experience (experience in Law, 8 years)
- Assessing legal, practical and business risks (experience in Risk Management)
- Managing stakeholders and cross-functional teams (experience in Management)
- In-house experience at a technology company (experience in Legal)
Responsibilities
- Review advertising and marketing content to ensure materials are legally compliant
- Advise on marketing and promotional initiatives across marketing channels (email, telemarketing, contests, sweepstakes and giveaways)
- Drive support on advertising and marketing across broad areas, including ad products, ad-tech, insights, sales initiatives and consumer facing brand marketing to ensure compliance with advertising, IP, competition, privacy, data protection and consumer protection laws and regulations, as well as other legal requirements
- Lead and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders across product, legal, policy and communications on multi-disciplinary issues, including those related to customer outreach, events and other initiatives
- Help to set and implement strategy for legal support of marketing to optimize client journey, streamline review and improve efficiency
- Directly manage client relationships and partnership with cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with colleagues across time zones and travel as needed
- Oversee outside counsel relationships
