Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field Requires university-level coursework, research project or internship involving the following: Programming in at least one of the following languages: Python, C++, Go, or other languages TCP, IP[v4|v6], BGP and related protocols Network hardware platforms and their specifications in the datacenter space Physical infrastructure design including structured cabling and fiber-optic cabling and Developing test automation frameworks integrated in CI/CD pipeline to qualify network software before push in production (degree in computer science)
Responsibilities
- Research, architect, develop and deploy scalable datacenter network architectures and related tooling. Work closely with our hardware, software and sourcing teams, and external vendors to develop new optical solutions and influence the future of networking and its associated infrastructure. Partner with our software teams to develop the tooling required to provision, manage, monitor and troubleshoot our networks. Develop automated network monitoring systems to mitigate and remediate network events. Analyze data to diagnose and identify root causes to network issues. Test new network products including both HW and SW and pilot them in production DC networks before a mass rollout. Develop test automation frameworks integrated in CI/CD pipeline to qualify network software before push in production. Develop tests that qualify complex network migration procedures in lab/emulation before executing the same in production. Participate in DC network on-call rotation.
