- 8+ years of, or PhD + 4 years of software engineering work experience, including hands on technical management Demonstrated experience recruiting, building, structuring, and leading technical organizations, including performance management Bachelor of Science/Masters in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience Experience supporting, coaching, mentoring, and developing software engineers 2+ years of experience in managing a team of engineers with varied skill levels Demonstrated experience leading one or more real-time engine components (e.g. Simulation, Performance, Networking, Audio, Assets) for a AAA engine (Unreal, Frostbite, Unity 3D, or other/proprietary AAA) Experience building for multiple hardware platforms (e.g. PC, Console, MR/VR, Cloud, mobile) Experience with performance optimization of real-time applications Experience developing SDKs or shared technology that balances the needs of multiple shipping products (experience, 8 years)
