Role Overview

As a Microbiologist Engineer at PepsiCo in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of product safety and quality. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect samples for comprehensive microbiological analysis from products, raw materials, water, and air.
  • Conduct quality control checks on finished products, incoming raw materials, water, and air in line with current legislation, company standards, and procedures.
  • Monitor all production processes across product types according to established control protocols.
  • Oversee the sanitary-hygienic state of workshops, equipment, worker hands, and clothing.
  • Organize and control the preparation of dishes, premises, instruments, and materials for microbiological tests.
  • Prepare and verify culture media and reagents, maintain detailed documentation, and register all analysis results.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

  • Secondary technical or higher education in microbiology engineering, food technology, or related microbiology specialization.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a laboratory as a chemical-bacteriological analysis lab assistant or microbiologist engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of microbiology principles, sampling techniques, and analytical methods.
  • Confident PC user skills for data entry and reporting.

No prior PepsiCo experience is required, but a passion for quality assurance in the food and beverage sector is essential. This is a temporary contract position covering for an absent employee, with potential for extension based on performance.
