We are on a journey to enable developer friendly, mission-critical, AI enabled operational Databases across relational, non-relational and OSS offerings.​ We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Principal Software Engineer with strong background in systems design/databases to work in Azure CosmosDB for MongoDB / Azure CosmosDB for PostgreSQL team. As seasoned engineer, you will partner/collaborate with engineers and leaders, helping team deliver features spanning the query engine, index structures, high availability and storage layouts. We’re looking for someone who has demonstrated history of solving hard technical problems, architected backend systems and is motivated to take initiative and help the team deliver fast for the entire product lifecycle.​​ We do not just value differences or different perspectives.
