The Mechanical Enclosure and Finish Team has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Senior Material Preparation and Treatment Lead. The position is responsible for the development, qualification and implementation of all mechanical surface preparation and chemical pre-treatments processes required to deliver the right scalable solution at the right cost on time. Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering, or related field OR Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years related technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years related technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience. (degree)
- An established record of leadership in a Metrology Technology Development Role. (degree)
- Familiar with metal forming and capable of experimental design method (degree)
- A solid demonstration of the application of structured problem solving on big problems and the ability to quickly provide distinct and precise updates to senior management. (degree)
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. (degree)
- Bachelor'/Master's Degree in a solid engineering discipline with 10+ years demonstrating engineering leadership in a multinational corporation. (degree)
- Adept at managing internal and external relationships through use of interpersonal skills. (degree)
- Adept at managing internal and external relationships through use of interpersonal skills. (degree)
- Ability to work in diverse cultural environments with cultural sensitivity. (degree)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for aluminum anodizing process optimization and bring it to mass production.
- Investigate chemical pre-treatment processes required to deliver the right scalable solution at the right cost on time.
- Explore the new metal forming technology/process and its surface treatment methods for enclosure application.
- Drive alignment between design, material and process selection and will own seamless integration of these processes into the overall process flow.
Travel Requirements
3 days / week in-office
