Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, along with proven experience in software engineering using C#, C++, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages. (degree)
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across local and global teams within Microsoft. (degree)
- Practical experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or equivalent. (degree)
- Knowledge of troubleshooting across networking, application layers, caching, load balancing, and distributed systems. (degree)
- Experience working with SQL-like query languages. (degree)
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and methodologies. (degree)
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies. (degree)
- Fluent in English. (degree)
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable software components for Microsoft Entra services.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and agile ceremonies to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Identify dependencies and contribute to the creation of design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms.
- Participate in on-call rotations with your team. Triage and respond to issues and advocate for opportunities to improve service health.
- Proactively seek opportunities to enhance system and service availability, reliability, resiliency, efficiency, and performance.
- Contribute to automation efforts across production and deployment pipelines.
- Debug and resolve complex issues by identifying root causes and implementing durable solutions.
- Maintain existing systems and services, ensuring adherence to established Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for internal customers.
- Mentor team members and promote an inclusive, collaborative engineering environment.
Travel Requirements
2 days / week in-office
