Social Projects Manager – São Paulo/SP

What will be your main responsibilities?
The Manager, Social Projects leads the Instituto Mosaic in Brazil and the execution of strategies and partnerships in alignment with The Mosaic Company Foundation for Sustainable Food Systems, which are aimed at improving sustainable agricultural systems, strengthening communities, and reinforcing Mosaic’s brand as a good corporate steward. This includes the implementation of projects and tracking of metrics to monitor their success; oversight of vendors and technical partners; coordination with local leaders, global stakeholders and other community organizations and agencies; and collaborating in cross-sector areas to advance corporate social responsibility. The position manages a programmatic and administrative budget of approximately $1.5 million, with opportunities to expand in line with the global corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy. The Manager, Social Projects is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of organizational management activities, including budgeting and expense management, grant management and reporting, financial and legal obligations, and preparations for the Institute’s quarterly board meetings.
The Manager, Social Projects represents the global CSR team in Brazil, maintaining relationships with internal and external parties and collaborating with the global sustainability team on reporting, stakeholder engagement and project-related activities in pursuit of the global strategy. Given the emphasis on downstream (agriculture systems-related) sustainability in Brazil, the Manager, Social Projects is the primary point of contact for sustainability with Mosaic’s Commercial team. This position is also the “face” of the Mosaic Institute in Brazil – representing the Institute and The Mosaic Company in external forums and in interactions with company leaders.
What will you do?
Strategic Communication - Communicate the Institute’s goals and outcomes to key internal and external audiences. Collaborate across teams to ensure messaging aligns with Mosaic Foundation, CSR, and company priorities.
Social Program Implementation and Assessment - Oversee the implementation of social projects in non-operating communities. Partner with internal teams, external organizations, and community members to ensure successful delivery. Apply quantitative and qualitative metrics to monitor progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
Mobilization and Engagement – Advocate for the interests of the Institute, Foundation, and CSR within the company. Create opportunities for internal stakeholders to strengthen relationships and enhance public goodwill.
Public Relations – Engage local communities, industry associations, NGOs, and other stakeholders to build support for the Institute’s activities and priorities.
Organizational Management – Ensure the efficient functioning of Instituto Mosaic, including cost-effective use of resources, timely and accurate reporting and maintenance of all legal and financial obligations, and preparations for quarterly Institute board of directors’ meetings.
Sustainability Support – Serve as the CSR representative in Brazil, representing Mosaic in key industry and cross-sector associations, maintaining an awareness of the internal and external landscapes, and coordinating critical information and action internally and externally.
