• Department OverviewAutomation System Maintenance and TroubleshootingJob DescriptionMaintain and repair computer-controlled systems and robotic devices in industrial and commercial settingsProvide immediate response to equipment malfunctions and escalate any unresolved issues to management and engineering teamsUtilize advance technical knowledge to perform tests and analysis of complex hardware problemsPerform automation system maintenance according to the schedule and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) documentationRun diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality as specified in the TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) documentationPerform diagnosis of the various automation control systems using diagrams, schematics, manuals and other documentation provided by the manufacturerTroubleshoot non-functioning components including motion sensors, control components, photosensors, pneumatic devices and other vital technologyInstall, configure and commission new installs (including hardware upgrades) of robotic systems and production equipment as neededPerform specific automation programing tasks and other services relating to the upkeep of the production equipmentCollect and record data in the designated database regarding root cause analysis, corrective actions, parts replacement, and scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum functionalityMonitor process for evaluating and implementing process improvements, assist engineering teams with process changesEstablish and maintain effective communications with production, quality, engineering and management personnelResponsible for working in accordance with the training, work procedures, and safety instructions to ensure satisfactory EHS performanceAssists operators in machine configurations, fixture set-ups and adjustments as requiredFlexibility to work holidays and weekends occasionallyTarget Base Salary Range: $50,100 - $83,600 Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
