• Department OverviewThe Services Design & Tools team is a strategic component of Centralized Managed Support Operations (CMSO).
• Our core responsibility is to provide exceptional service design and innovative technology solutions that empower Motorola Solutions Centralized Managed Support Operations to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations.Job DescriptionApplication Development: Develop clean, efficient, well-documented, and scalable mobile and/or web applications to enhance team productivity.Automated Test Scripts: Create automated test scripts to streamline the testing of CMSO service delivery applications.Feature Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of new features, modules, and services across our platform.Testing and Debugging: Participate in integration and system testing, identifying and resolving software defects and bugs.Collaboration: Work within an Agile/Scrum framework, actively participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, design specifications, and user guides.Learning and Growth: Proactively explore new technologies, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve skills and processes.Basic RequirementsEducation: Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.Programming Skills: Foundational knowledge and experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript).Core Concepts: Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), data structures, algorithms, and software development lifecycle principles.Problem-Solving: Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.Communication: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong desire to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.Tools: Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.Internship Tenure: Ability to commit to a minimum internship tenure of 6 monthsAble to start April or May 2026#LI-MK2Travel RequirementsNoneRelocation ProvidedNonePosition TypeInternReferral Payment PlanNoEEO StatementMotorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
