  • Avigilon's solutions have been installed at thousands of customer sites, including school campuses, transportation systems, healthcare centers, public venues, critical infrastructure, prisons, factories, casinos, airports, financial institutions, government facilities, and retailers.Job DescriptionThe Sales Engineering Manager - Video Security & Access Control (VS&A), holds a key position that requires a dynamic individual who is knowledgeable and passionate about people leadership, management, scaling businesses and problem solving.
  • The Sales Engineering Manager - VS&A will be responsible but not limited to the following:Responsibilities:Develop, manage, and refine critical processes related to the sales engineering organizationReport on key metrics related to Sales Engineer (SE) field activities related to opportunities, partner and end customer engagementsCollaborate with key business units such as marketing, training, tech support, engineering, product teams, sales and others to foster business synergiesDevelop, monitor and report on KPIs for SEs Mentor, coach and develop sales engineers Provide ongoing training and enablement for the sales engineers on the VS&A product portfolio as well and upskilling in key technology related areasTravel: 50+% domestic travel by car and air.
  • Occasional international travel may be requiredSpecific Knowledge & SkillsBachelor's Degree is highly desired 7+ years experience in one of the following: Sales, Engineering, Video or Surveillance3+ years of Leadership experienceStrong understanding of the physical security industryExperience in multi-brand corporate structures with respects to sales engineering modelsExperience in the channel partner business modelsExperience in resource allocation and capacity planning for sales engineering teams including commission structure planningExperience in high growth and rapid change management environmentsExcellent verbal and written communication skills including presenting to executive leadership levelsPassion and proven track record for problem solving business challengesTarget Base Salary Range: $125,000 - $135,000Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
