  • Department OverviewThe Design & Tools (D&T) team is a strategic component of Centralized Managed Support Operations (CMSO), responsible for providing exceptional Service Design & innovative technology solutions to enable and empower MSI Centralized Managed Support Operations to meet and exceed customer's expectations.Job DescriptionImplement core configuration user stories with minimal guidance.User stories could cover service catalog, catalog items/record producers, knowledge bases/knowledge articles, notifications, assignment rules using advanced work assignment, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) configurations and workflows.Experience delivering projects for implementing Workspaces and Now AssistParticipate in and/or lead design workshops, development, testing and deployment activitiesLead the design and implementation of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, CSM and Custom Applications.Ability to build ServiceNow Reports, dashboards and homepagesAbility to set up data security via control rules, domain separationImplement integrations utilizing Integration Hub and relevant Spokes.Good hands-on knowledge and experience with any one or more areas: JavaScript /HTML/ CSS / AJAX / Angular / BootstrapExperience administering a ServiceNow instance including group roles, permissions, modifications for business rules, workflows, UI pages, UI actions, UI policies.Execute unit testing to confirm user stories meet acceptance criteria as implemented.Troubleshoot complex platform issues and ensure a high level of reliability and user satisfaction.Peer review of other developers’ user storiesProvide technical documentation as requiredDevelopment, management, and configuration of ServiceNow applications, modules, enhancements, product development, and some system administration tasks.Provide coaching and guidance to junior developers on best practice approaches to implement required functionality involving technical leads as required.#LI-TK1Basic RequirementsBachelor of Science in Computer Science, a similar technical discipline, or comparable industry experienceServiceNow Certified System AdministratorServiceNow Certified Application Developer6 to 8 years in ServiceNow configuration and development experienceMinimum 5 years of experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration and/or development of the ServiceNow toolExperience delivering projects for implementing Workspaces and Now AssistExcellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills are necessary to be able to translate technical information to non-technical audiencesEnergetic self-starter able to work independently in a fast-paced environmentHigh sense of ownership, responsibility, and commitment to qualityProven ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting deadlinesEffective organization, collaboration, planning, problem-solving, and analytical skillsTravel RequirementsNoneRelocation ProvidedNonePosition TypeExperiencedReferral Payment PlanNoEEO StatementMotorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
