  • At Motorola Solutions, we’re ushering in a new era in public safety and security.Job DescriptionScope of Responsibilities/Expectations:Build strong relationships and customer knowledge by understanding the Motorola Solutions business modelWork with the customer using the necessary sales tools to develop a robust strategy in order to become a trusted adviser to the customer and partnersCandidate will learn, develop, and be capable of clearly articulating account specific strategies for all Motorola solutionsDevelop and enhance strong customer relationships across multiple levels and functionsOrchestrate and lead the extended Motorola team to understand the account's strategy, business imperatives, and top opportunitiesAllocate appropriate resources, and obtain full collaboration of internal product groups and external partners as necessary to meet the needs of key accountsSpecific Knowledge/Skills:Bachelor's DegreeSeeking 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or technical roles selling into or working for government agencies-- Federal Civilian or Law Enforcement Agencies experience preferredMust be a U.S.
  • citizen with ability to obtain a necessary security clearance as required by government contractPrior experience in selling or designing complex software and communications solutions highly desiredExcellent communication, sales, and writing skillsMust have a demonstrated track record of closing major salesAn understanding of the proposal process with proposal assembly experience preferredA technical background to include Public Safety Solutions such a VMS/Video, Land Mobile Radio, CAD/911 strongly desiredWorking knowledge of IP networking, Information Assurance and or Cyber Security a plusApplicant must be a self-motivated problem solverSolid working knowledge of Salesforce.com, Google Productivity Suite strongly desiredDevelopment and execution of sales and go-to-market strategies in a highly collaborative environmentMust be self-reliant and able to work effectively from a remote officeApproximately 30-50% local travelLegal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • indefinitely is required.
  • Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.Target Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 USDConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
  • Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
