  • This Department is responsible for selling Motorola Solutions public safety applications to city, county and state agencies within the state of Mississippi.Job DescriptionThe Sr.
  • AM) is responsible for sales, strategic account planning, and overall relationship management for a number of “target” customers or a specific geographic territory in Mississippi.
  • Product and service portfolio includes communications technology as well as software and services to enhance the mission critical missions of Motorola's customers.The Sr.
  • Account Manager will be responsible for but not limited to the following:Product and service portfolio includes communications technology as well as software and services to enhance the mission critical missions of Motorola's customersDevelop and implement a comprehensive sales plan for each “target” account and or geography and their buying centers covering the full portfolio of Motorola products and services (core, software enterprise, and emerging technologies)Assemble and coordinate a diverse team of internal & external sales resources to assess customer’s needs and address their requirementsAct as a trusted advisor to influence customer’s technology platform decisions and develop preference and loyalty for Motorola SolutionsProactively develop large project opportunities encompassing a wide range of products and servicesProactively engage and lead channel partners in selling Motorola Solutions products and services to customers buying centers where appropriateDevelop strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers within and outside of public safetyProactively engage Motorola executive sponsors to build a strategic relationship to position long term opportunities for Motorola SolutionsDevelop Motorola procurement vehicles for multiple solutions to be leveraged across an entire “target” accountSpecific Knowledge/Skills:Bachelors Degree preferredSeeking 4+ years of sales experiencePrevious Government or Public Safety background a plus but not requiredStrong customer-focused, relationship development/management skillsWillingness and ability to be a strong self-starter and hunt to identify/create sales opportunitiesExcellent negotiation skillsHighly motivated and results-orientedAbility to quickly learn new key characteristics of products/solutions and communicate the value of those solutions to customersHigh tech solutions sales experience and working in PSAP's (Public Safety Answering Points) a plusExperience utilizing channel partners to address customer requirementsTravel Requirements:Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within State of MississippiPreferred candidates will live in or near the Jackson, MS areaTarget Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $95,000 USDConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
