• The EEC Si Engineering Team works with field teams to develop the fine design details of a Radio Communications System and to support the fundamental objective of Total CustomerSatisfaction.Job DescriptionIn this role you will, be an active member of a team of developmental engineers, systems engineers, system technicians, and field personnel to understand, design, and test complex communications and information systems to meet customer requirements and schedule deadlines.Become familiar with the CCSi workflow processes and procedures to program and integrate equipment for a fully functional system.As a system staging engineer be an active participant.Driving force behind the implementation, optimization, troubleshooting, testing, and auditing of systems throughout the staging process.Provide detailed system design drawings/documentation, as well as hands-on support for systems testing and troubleshootingServe as focal point & catalyst for the resolution of product and system problems in complex communications and information systemsDevelop new methods to improve performance, ease of installation, diagnostics, quality, and cycle time of complex systemsQualifications:IT Systems Engineering experienceAggressive problem-solving skills and the ability to get things done in a multi-organizational environment.Effective communications, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of two-way radio systems, wireless data systemsLAN/WAN, Windows, and TCP/IP networking skills are requiredSome travel possible.VM and OVF high-level working and design knowledge.Astro/Mototrbo Motorola Communication systems experience is desiredLTE, P25, Tetra knowledge is helpfulAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Aggressive problem-solving skills and the ability to get things done.Effective communications including public speaking and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Knowledge of active directory and virtual machines.
• Work with a team of staging engineers and field personnel to test customer systems.Provide "hands-on" support for systems testing and troubleshooting.Serve as a catalyst for the resolution of product and system problems and communicate issues quickly and accurately to the staging engineers.Basic Unix/shell scripting skills a plus.Target Base Salary Range: $65,900 - $85,000 Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
