Role Overview:

As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and managing financial consolidation systems which is used for consolidating company financial statements. You will collaborate with business teams and other technical teams to ensure that the consolidation system (FCCS) and its supporting infrastructure is up and running all the time. Essential skills include a strong technical background, proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum), and excellent organizational abilities and strong technical and functional knowledge on finance systems in Account to Report.

What will you do in this role:

  • Day to day support of FCCS system as part of month end, quarter end and year end close.
  • Monitoring batches, consolidations and backups to ensure the processes are run without fail and inform businesses for any issues and address the failures in timely manner.
  • Up to date with latest patch notes and test out new features, bug fixes as part of monthly release.
  • Perform monthly regression testing to ensure patch testing is done successfully without any issues and capture the results. Perform additional testing for any bug fixes in the patch or raise Service Request with Oracle Support for any new bugs or issues.
  • Timely follow-up with Oracle support on open Service Requests for issues, bugs and enhancements. Raise any new Service Requests with appropriate priority based on the severity and impact.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements for any enhancements or changes.
  • Knowledge of ITIL (Incident, problem management, Change management).
  • Responsible for addressing any vulnerabilities on the integration servers used for FCCS.
  • Support HFM, FDMEE and Essbase read only systems. Assist the Product Owner on the tech debt remediation on archiving these systems.
  • Define, document, and execute tasks. Work in a team, actively participating in all phases of the project. Identify, assess, and manage risks effectively.
  • Undertaking basic risk management activities. Maintain documentation of risks, threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation actions.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Understand the technical aspects of the project to make informed decisions, provide guidance, and communicate effectively with the development team. This includes having a deep understanding of the technology stack, architecture, and potential technical challenges.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring that the team focuses on delivering the most valuable features.

What Should you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or any Technology stream. Advanced degree or PMP certification is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in end-to-end implementation of in Oracle EPM Cloud specifically FCCS and Narrative Reporting. Experience with ARCS, Free Form and Planning cloud is a plus. Knowledge of HFM, FDMEE and Essbase is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of finance business processes and clear understanding of close and consolidation best practices. Deep functional and technical knowledge of all aspects of Oracle FCCS (e.g., Consolidations, Intercompany Eliminations, Currency Translation) and ARCS (e.g., Reconciliation Compliance, Transaction Matching).
  • Foundational understanding / experience with EPM / Cloud Security: SSO, SAML, IP Filtering, OAUTH
  • Knowledge of SOX processes and reports to provide for SOX audits
  • Proven experience in leading complex technical projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of software development, systems integration, programming or related areas.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, MS Project).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
