The myBUY Controls, Compliance & Governance Assistant Manager role at PepsiCo in Chengdu, Sichuan, is a critical position within the APAC procurement team. Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will drive compliance and governance excellence through targeted actions:

• Monitor procurement activities, including purchase orders, to ensure strict adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Track changes in global policies and regulations, conduct impact analyses, and implement necessary control updates in collaboration with the controls team.
• Align myBUY policies with P2P and Global Procurement guidelines, developing and communicating the procurement controls matrix with stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver training materials to enhance departmental awareness of compliance obligations.
• Execute GCS scope controls per the design matrix and document them timely in the GCS portal.
• Liaise with internal auditors, providing documentation and implementing corrective actions promptly.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies, monitor their effectiveness (e.g., via governance calls), and support myBUY change requests and system upgrades with APAC SMEs.
• Collaborate with the myBUY GPO to standardize processes across all sectors.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Management, Accounting, or Business Administration; a Master's degree is advantageous.
• At least 5 years of experience in procurement, compliance, or related fields, ideally in the Food & Beverage industry.
• Deep functional knowledge of procurement processes, tools, and sourcing technologies in global and regional settings.
• Advanced skills in data analysis tools like Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data validation), with Tableau or Power BI as a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, including root cause identification.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written); comfort in matrix organizations and technology-driven processes.
• Results-oriented mindset with the ability to deliver against stretch targets and navigate cultural differences within PepsiCo.
