Role Description
Design and implement secure network architectures across Azure and GCP cloud environments. Develop and maintain Terraform templates and guidelines for our DevOps team to deploy network and security features through our CI/CD pipelines. Configure, deploy, and manage CheckPoint security solutions to protect cloud workloads. Perform security assessments and implement remediation strategies for cloud infrastructure. Establish network connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments for various customers, from classical VPN to advanced ExpressRoute and Interconnect including service provider selection. Design and implement secure transit paths between multiple cloud providers - Create and maintain documentation for network topologies and security implementations. Participate in PoC, presales, troubleshooting sessions. Work in a team, support colleagues. Self learning, stay up to date with the latest update from the cloud providers.
5+ years of experience in network engineering and security. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure and/or GCP cloud platforms. Good knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure automation. Experience with CheckPoint security products and implementations. Proficiency in network protocols such as BGP and IPSEC. Demonstrated experience designing secure network architectures - Understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Business-fluent in both German and English. Desirable qualifications: Certifications: Azure Security Engineer, GCP Cloud Security Engineer, CheckPoint CCSA/CCSE, Terraform Associate.
