The National New Business Development Manager - Foodservice - Restaurants plays a pivotal role in expanding PepsiCo's footprint in the restaurant channel. This position focuses on generating new business with large multi-unit chains (100+ locations) and prestige partners across all PepsiCo lines of business. Reporting into the National New Business Foodservice Team, you'll collaborate closely with PepsiCo Beverages NA Sector and Division sales teams to achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets for volume, net revenue, profit, and market share.
This is a high-impact, strategic role emphasizing best-in-class strategies for acquisition, renewals, and portfolio expansion. With a target of $2.5MM in incremental growth annually, you'll support the Foodservice Distributor organization in restaurant segments. The role is location-flexible across the USA, requiring residence near a major airport and 40-50% travel.
Deliver $2.5MM in incremental new business sales annually across PepsiCo Foods North America (PFNA) lines of business. Develop and execute strategies to secure large multi-unit restaurant chains and prestige partners.
Work closely with Region, National, and HQ sales teams, plus Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and counterparts in PepsiCo Foods and Beverages. Leverage the full PepsiCo portfolio to identify opportunities and ensure profitable growth.
Act as the New Business Subject Matter Expert, managing a multi-year customer pipeline. Create monthly reports on prospecting progress versus plan. Identify and sell 'Power of 1' opportunities across divisions and sectors.
Establish industry-leading programs for acquisition acceleration, renewal improvement, and portfolio expansion. Conduct data analysis to uncover growth opportunities and support complex, high-priority sales closures.
A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, coupled with a minimum of 4+ years of sales experience, ideally in a consumer-packaged goods organization. Extensive knowledge of the restaurant and foodservice landscape is essential.
Demonstrate strong thought-leadership, team management, and influencing skills. Excel in time management, handling multiple projects, and prioritizing effectively. Be a self-starter capable of independent work with exceptional results orientation.
Must be willing to travel 40-50% of the time and live near a major airport. Superior communication, collaboration, and strategic decision-making skills are required at all organizational levels.
PepsiCo offers a competitive compensation package for this role, with a salary range of $93,500 - $156,450, determined by location, skills, experience, and education. Eligible candidates receive a 15% annual performance bonus.
