The planned scope for this Associate will be to support operational activities within the Talent (HR) organization, including forecast submission, stakeholder deliverables and ROI analyses. The position can be based in Los Angeles or Los Gatos, CA, and will report to the Manager, FP&A, Talent. ResponsibilitiesCoordinating monthly and quarterly Talent (HR) reconciliations for forecast vs. actuals.Tracking and maintaining financial and headcount budget movements across all Talent departments.Supporting scenario modeling analysis to inform internal decision-making.Building management reporting and other deliverables for the Talent/HR function.Supporting ad hoc reporting and analytical projects.Owning the operational processes related to headcount planning and people cost forecasting for Talent/HR and helping to identify key trends, variance drivers, R&Os, and other meaningful analyses. Qualifications2-5 years of finance-related experience – ideally a combination in areas such as strategy/analytics, corporate finance, or management consulting.Must be a self-starter, disciplined to work effectively autonomously, with the ability to drive communications and alignment with local and regional FP&A teams.A successful candidate will have a strong track record of identifying gaps and solutions, performing and coordinating analyses, and communicating findings clearly and concisely.Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and exhibit the highest standards of integrity and ethics.Partner with stakeholders, HR, and TA partners to own the headcount forecasting process.Proficiency with Google Sheets (or equivalent); working knowledge of statistics and analysis packages a plus. Tableau, Anaplan, and TM1 knowledge a plus.Experience in accounting concepts and financial planning is a plus.Genuine passion and excitement for Netflix’s unique culture.Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range.
