QA Test Lead

Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.Netflix is looking for an experienced QA Test Lead to join the Netflix Games Studio in delivering the next generation of video games for a worldwide audience.As a test professional, your hands-on approach and innovative technical proficiency will have a significant impact on the oversight of multiple Netflix titles and in leading the QA effort for their releases. This role requires exceptional testing expertise, project management skills, and a deep understanding of a diverse consumer device universe with a specific focus on Android and iOS. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a real passion for a positive user experience; the ideal candidate will work as an integrated member of a cross-functional team, participating in the design, and execution, of QA strategies and methods. This position requires the ability to lead a mix of internal and vendor QA staff assigned to your projects, meet business deadlines, and uphold the highest levels of quality.ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee the entire QA process across multiple game projects, ensuring games release at the Netflix quality standard.Create and maintain holistic project testing schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams to track progress and communicate testing status.Develop comprehensive test plans and test strategies, and identify appropriate tooling and frameworks to support all testing efforts.Supervise and mentor a team of QA testers, offering guidance, training, and support to drive their efficiency and productivity.Triage defects and issues, working closely with development teams and production to prioritize issues to be fixed ahead of the next release.Lead live operations testing as titles release.Anticipate production and quality challenges and proactively work with the team to find solutions and mitigate disruptions to development.Maintain a detailed understanding of both production and QA testing processes, facilitating as a point of contact between teams.Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and excellent communication on behalf of both the company and QA team.RequirementsMinimum 5 years of industry experience in Live Service & Mobile gaming QAMinimum 3 years experience leading test teamsMinimum 3 years of QA project management experience Priority for mobile games testing experience, with exceptional iOS/Android testing skillsDemonstrated experience in test planning for complex features/systemsExpert knowledge of technical requirements, tools, and processesExperience translating requirements into effective test casesProven ability to work both remotely and independentlyPassion for games with a commitment to qualityBonus SkillsCertifications: PMP, Scrum Master and/or Product OwnerExperience with JIRA, TestRail, and TCM toolsLocation:US Remote, West Coast preferredOur compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range.
