What You'll Do
- Drive the design, development, and enhancement of core features for the observability platform using cutting-edge technologies
- Act as subject matter expert, guiding and mentoring a team of software engineers to achieve technical excellence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, efficient systems for growing customer base
- Research and experiment with emerging technologies to enhance the observability platform
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions with product managers and stakeholders
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, applying optimizations for platform stability
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and innovation within the engineering team
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in software development, engineering, or related technical field
- 4+ years experience as technical lead for team of at least 5 engineers
- 8+ years experience as software engineer in Java and/or Go with strong CS background
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale software systems
- Strong understanding of scalable distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Keep up to date with AWS/Azure/GCP, serverless, Docker, Kubernetes
Bonus Points If You Have
- Contribution to open source projects
- Experience with GraphQL schemas
- Experience building high throughput pipelines and distributed systems
- Experience with observability products in SaaS space
