About This Role

The Senior Manager, Mid-Market Sales in Dublin will build and lead a high-velocity sales team from the ground up, focusing on net-new client acquisition in the Mid-Market sector. This hands-on leadership role involves coaching Account Executives, managing pipeline hygiene, forecasting, and applying MEDDICC for deal closure at New Relic's new Dublin headquarters. It offers accelerated professional growth and opportunities for internal progression.

What You'll Do

  • Coach Account Executives daily by joining calls to refine skills and drive performance
  • Set clear KPIs and lead strategies to overachieve on pipeline and revenue goals
  • Instill pipeline hygiene through rigorous qualification and disqualification of opportunities
  • Build and maintain accurate sales forecasts using data analysis and trend spotting
  • Ensure rigorous application of MEDDICC framework for deal structure and closure
  • Attract, hire, and develop top-tier sales talent through hands-on mentoring
  • Drive net-new client acquisition with consistent high-impact pipeline generation

  • Proven track record running high-performing sales teams with net-new acquisition focus
  • Exceptional coaching and leadership skills with desire to develop talent
  • Deep familiarity with SaaS/Cloud environments and Salesforce CRM
  • Proficiency in MEDDIC and COM sales methodologies
  • Strong analytical capability using data and trends for performance measurement
  • Ability to accurately forecast with high resilience and proactive mentality

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience building sales team from scratch or managing organizational change
  • Fluency in European language (Spanish, French, Dutch, or Italian)
  • Leadership philosophy rooted in hands-on coaching over passive metrics
