About This Role
As Senior Manager, Software Engineering in Synthetic Monitoring at New Relic in Hyderabad, you will lead a team building customer-facing infrastructure monitoring for digital experience, simulating user paths through applications. What You'll Do
- Lead and grow a team responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of New Relic's Synthetic Monitoring platform
- Coach and mentor engineers to develop their personal and professional abilities and maintain engagement
- Drive technology decision making, process efficiency, and engineering excellence
- Ensure success of software projects through planning and execution within and across teams
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to align product and business goals
- Implement processes and methodologies that foster operational excellence
- Serve as domain expert in data governance, transparency, and accuracy for consumption-based business model
- Drive recruitment, training, and development of top-tier engineering talent
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams
- Strong experience in Software Engineering
- Proven track record as a technology leader scaling technical teams
- Experience handling client incidents and understanding technical risks
- Working on large scale distributed systems, data processing, and APIs
- Hands-on experience with Java or other programming languages
