Job Description

About This Role

As New Relic's first Senior Observability Presales Engineer in Thailand, you will lead technical presales efforts, partner with Account Executives to win business, and establish the company's regional presence in SEA. This remote-first role based around Bangkok requires deep technical expertise in observability, cloud technologies, and performance monitoring, combined with strong presales skills and fluency in Thai and English. You will deliver demos, workshops, build customer relationships, and provide feedback to shape product strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the lead technical expert for New Relic in Thailand, owning and driving technical presales engagements from qualification through to successful close
  • Work in close partnership with regional Account Executives to provide technical sales support and strategy for winning new business and expanding accounts
  • Build and nurture trusted relationships with customers and prospects as their go-to advisor for observability strategy
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations, Proof of Value workshops, and compelling business justifications showcasing New Relic's capabilities
  • Evangelize New Relic's innovative capabilities and provide customer feedback to product and engineering teams
  • Collaborate in person with team and customers as needed to establish regional presence

What We're Looking For

  • Fluent proficiency in both Thai and English
  • Strong understanding of AWS and Azure hyperscaler software
  • Proven presales or consulting experience leading complex enterprise engagements
  • Deep expertise across enterprise technology layers from user experience to cloud applications and infrastructure
  • Solid grasp of Kubernetes, containers, microservices, SRE, DevOps, and CI/CD
  • Experience with performance monitoring tools for infrastructure, applications, web/mobile, network, user experience, and CX

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Direct experience in Observability or software security
  • Understanding of Otel or Software Consumption pricing models
  • Experience in FinTech or Financial Services sector
  • Familiarity with SAP technology
