About This Role
The Senior Solutions Architect serves as a trusted advisor to New Relic clients, driving observability transformation through strategic planning, technical consulting, and solution design. They collaborate across sales, engineering, product, and marketing teams to lead POCs, accelerate platform adoption, and map business outcomes to observability capabilities. This role requires deep technical expertise in cloud-native technologies and observability tools, combined with strong communication skills to engage all client levels.
What You'll Do
- Lead technical evaluations by owning POC/POV and SA workshops in collaboration with sales and product teams
- Visit client offices regularly to understand and align with their objectives
- Create and maintain relationships with key client contacts to drive Net ACR and platform consumption
- Accelerate observability transformation and maturity initiatives for clients and prospects
- Act as technical consultant and advisor during sales cycles, providing solution guidance
- Document current and desired observability states and design solutions for identified gaps
- Map client business outcomes to required observability capabilities
- Build observability credibility through reference architectures, technical blogs, conference presentations, and resource repositories
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 4+ years professional development experience with Java, Python, or Golang
- Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana
- Experience with observability platforms like New Relic, Splunk, AppDynamics, DataDog, Dynatrace, or Grafana Labs
- Understanding of SLI/SLO service level measurement approaches
- Experience with DevOps, SRE, and Platform Engineering disciplines
Bonus Points If You Have
- Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Background in iOS and Android mobile architectures and platforms
- Experience contributing to or maintaining open source projects
- Fluency in Portuguese
