About This Role
As a Senior Solutions Consultant specializing in SAP, you will drive New Relic's observability platform adoption within enterprise SAP environments in Tokyo. Leverage your SAP operations and technical expertise to deliver compelling demos, presentations, and value propositions to customers while collaborating with sales teams. This role offers a chance to pioneer SAP observability solutions, with comprehensive onboarding for those transitioning from engineering backgrounds.
What You'll Do
- Provide New Relic consulting knowledge to communicate the value of New Relic solutions to customers
- Create and deliver compelling customer presentations and proof-of-concept demos focused on New Relic SAP solutions aligned with customer requirements
- Promote New Relic and SAP solutions through event speaking, technical content creation, and training delivery
- Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Consultants, and Technical Account Managers on deal opportunities
- Adhere to New Relic's core values including responsibility, boldness, authenticity, and passion
- Build and present customized demonstrations highlighting SAP observability capabilities
- Support customer engagements by explaining SAP-specific value propositions
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP domain (Pre-sales, Consultant/Architect, Operations Admin, Developer) with customer-facing experience
- Broad SAP knowledge (ERP, S/4HANA, BTP, ABAP, Fiori)
- Practical experience operating SAP systems (Solman, Cloud ALM, SAP GUI) and troubleshooting
- Experience using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Interest in emerging technologies with proactive hands-on learning mindset
- English reading/writing proficiency for communication with global team (Slack, email)
Bonus Points If You Have
- Practical experience with programming languages (Java, PHP, .NET, Ruby, Node.js, Python)
- SAP ABAP development experience
- Experience operating SAP Transaction Codes as Basis administrator
- Experience designing/developing/operating integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems
