About This Role

The Solutions Consultant I role at New Relic in Dublin involves leading product demos, Proof of Value setups, and technical evangelism for mid-market clients in observability solutions. This customer-facing position bridges complex tech stacks with business value, collaborating closely with Account Executives. Ideal for pre-sales professionals or engineers transitioning to commercial roles, with training provided for success.

What You'll Do

  • Lead high-impact product demonstrations showcasing how the platform solves complex engineering challenges for mid-market clients
  • Partner with customers to configure and set up environments in production or test settings for Proof of Value (POV)
  • Maintain deep understanding of customers' cloud ecosystems including OpenTelemetry and Serverless to advocate for observability
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to identify new opportunities and translate technical concepts into business value
  • Relay customer feedback directly to Engineering and Product teams to shape product development
  • Act as a technical evangelist bridging modern tech stacks and business outcomes

What We're Looking For

  • Experience supporting pre-sales engagements or SRE/Engineering background with desire for commercial role
  • Deep technical knowledge of modern tech stacks including Cloud, Containers, and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE)
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and monitoring standards like Prometheus and OpenTelemetry
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex topics to non-technical audiences and handle objections under pressure
  • Continuous learner mindset focused on staying current in observability field

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Fluent in French or German for European mid-market expansion
  • Prior experience with performance monitoring tools (APM, Infrastructure, or User Experience)
