Key Responsibilities

In this role, your daily tasks will keep our hotel running smoothly overnight:

• Accurately record and report all property receipts following established cash handling procedures.
• Collect payments at checkout, provide change, and balance all financial transactions.
• Perform comprehensive end-of-day front desk and night audit functions, including cashier audits, credit card balancing, and database integrity checks.
• Prepare computer systems, backup files, and daily reports for the following day.
• Interact professionally with guests and departments, resolving issues with empathy and the 'Yes I Can!' hospitality mindset.
• Notice and address guest dissatisfaction proactively to exceed expectations.

Qualifications & Requirements

We seek candidates who bring proven expertise to our team:

• Minimum one year of hotel front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience.
• Experience with Opera system preferred.
• Strong math skills with accurate calculations using a 10-key calculator.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with keen attention to detail.
• Positive, professional attitude in all situations; adherence to hotel policies.
• Must be available for overnight shifts, flexible scheduling including holidays and weekends.
• Physical ability to stand, stoop, bend for entire shift and lift up to 20 pounds.

Working knowledge of computers and commitment to exceptional guest service are essential.
