We are currently looking for an Industrial Engineer to join our team in Smyrna, TN.

A Day in the Life:   

  • Conducts process improvement studies and activities using IE tools and procedures to ensure the manufacturing jobs have efficient process flow and no quality or safety concerns exist.
  • Studies Global Operation Sheets to understand the proper installation process for parts and develops standard times based on drawings. If improvement is identified for the installation of a given part, works with Process Engineering to confirm the new process meets standard requirements, and assists in any trials needed for the new process
  • Meets and communicates regularly with manufacturing teams to discuss any concerns related to staffing, process improvements, line speed adjustments, quality, safety, and material flow.
  • Conducts capacity studies on equipment throughout the assigned area and communicates findings with the Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Process Engineering Teams.

Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

  • three to five years of related experience at a professional level.
  • A four-year degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or Engineering Technology.
