Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Planner, Corporate Strategy to join our team in Mississauga, ON.

The Planner, Corporate Strategy plays a critical role in supporting NCI’s Corporate Strategy function by delivering accurate, timely, and actionable industry insights. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining digital business intelligence systems, managing corporate planning databases, and producing operational forecasts that inform strategic decisions, supports executive decision making, and provides insights on industry trends, risks, and opportunities.

A Day in the Life:   

  • Business Intelligence: Develop and maintain Digital Business Intelligence systems for Corporate Strategy, including Executive Dashboards for Nissan and Infiniti performance, Month-end reporting tools, segment trend insights, APV (Alternative Powertrain Vehicle) trends, Industry Fleet Reports, Provincial Reports, etc.

  • Manage Daily Sales Report (DSR): Run daily Snowflake-based queries to extract sales data and populate DSR dashboards. Incorporate monthly sales cadence assumptions to ensure accurate daily forecasting. Distribute DSR to stakeholders with clear insights on sales progress across carlines and regions.

  • Maintain Corporate Planning Database: Collaborate with the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team to ensure timely and accurate updates. Maintain proprietary segmentation and historical data integrity. Modify historical data when segmentation changes occur to preserve backward compatibility (~10 years of monthly data).

  • Forecasting: Create segment-level and provincial-level TIV forecasts. Run forecasting models and recommend adjustments throughout the fiscal year based on market dynamics.

  • Reporting: Develop key reports & review materials with actionable insights and opportunities. Present actionable insights and opportunities to key stakeholders at Nissan and Infiniti governance meetings.

Who we are looking for:

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales & Marketing with an Automotive OEM or related industry with at least 2 years in Market Forecasting or Business Analytics.

  • Proficiency in Power BI (mandatory) and Tableau for dashboard development and data visualization.

  • Strong ability to query large datasets using Snowflake or similar data warehouse systems.

  • Advanced Excel skills (including VBA & Macros) and proficiency in PowerPoint for executive reporting.

  • Knowledge of forecasting methodologies and ability to apply them to market and segment-level projections.

  • Candidates should be able to synthesize complex industry data and present clear, actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

  • Familiarity with data governance principles and ability to maintain historical data integrity.

Desired:

  • Demonstrated experience in automating reporting and BI workflows (Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, RPA).

  • Familiarity with S&P Global Mobility (Vehicle Registrations) and DesRosiers Automotive data.

  • Certifications in Business Intelligence tools or Data Analytics (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or automation tools for data workflows.

  • Advanced statistical modeling techniques for forecasting.

  • Experience in formalizing and documenting operating procedures for key tasks.

Salary Range:

$76,941.00 - $94,527.00

This compensation range represents the minimum to midpoint base salary rates at Nissan for jobs assigned to this particular grade level. Please note that an employee’s base salary may occasionally be set above the midpoint of the salary band for this grade level, in recognition of the employee’s unique skills, work experience, education, work location, or market conditions. Compensation decisions also consider internal equity and comparisons with the base salary rates of other employees with similar backgrounds working in comparable roles. Note: Bonus, benefits, and other forms of variable compensation are not included in the base-salary range shown above.
