Develop fighter aircraft lighting requirements based on military specifications. Facilitate design reviews with key stakeholders to ensure designs meet requirements. This requisition may be filled at either a Principal Engineer Electrical or a Sr. Principal Engineer Electrical level. For a Principal Electrical Engineer position, a Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field from an accredited university with 5 years of experience in electrical design of air vehicle systems, OR Master's degree with 3 years of engineering experience in electrical design of air vehicle systems. For a Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer position, a Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field from an accredited university with 8 years of engineering experience in electrical design of air vehicle systems, OR Master's degree with 6 years of engineering experience in electrical design of air vehicle systems. Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company. Experience with military fighter aircraft exterior and internal lighting specifications and design. Experience with military aircraft subsystem development, with requirements definition, specification development, component analysis, procurement, source selection, integration and test and verification for advance aircraft. Familiarity with MIL-STD-3009 Knowledge/experience with IR and visible light spectrums Previous experience troubleshooting / providing liaison experience in the lab and AC environment
